The “Syringa Bush” motif appears in James Churchward's 1933 esoteric book The Sacred Symbols of Mu, where a plant-like form within a square is labelled “The Syringa Bush”. Churchward presents the design within his own Mu-based symbolic system. That early-twentieth-century source is not evidence of an ancient or universal sacred-geometry tradition, so broader claims about the number four or the “source of all existence” are treated as Churchward's interpretation rather than historical fact.
